Campari Scholarship

Campari scholarship for design students

University debt is a topic of worry for many people who want to study but lack the financial means to follow their dreams. In a campaign to celebrate 32 years of the famous red elixir, Campari joined up with Pocko’s Marco Oggian to create an NFT project where the proceeds of the sales were designated to a student in need at the POLI.design program, Polytechnic University in Milano.

The Campari story has its roots deep in design, starting in 1932 when Davide Campari hired the Futurist, Fortunato Depero, to create a bottle that would reflect innovation and forward-thinking for this drink that was the first-ever single dose, ready to drink aperitif. Davide Campari was an entrepreneur and pioneer in using art in brand development, the likes of which are now reflected in this new NFT campaign with Marco Oggian.

The Work

Marco’s work is based on geometric shapes and mostly primary, vivid colours. Mixing in animation and typography with his unique style and drawings, gives him the ability to illustrate complex concepts in a joyful and intelligent way. The iconic triangular Campari bottle which hasn’t changed since 1932, was a fitting canvas for Marco to work his geometric magic.
